Silver Woods in Moonlight Ring
This beautifully patterned ring is made to reflect the beautiful structure of Tree bark. It was fashioned from applying layers of Sterling Silver on top of a base Sterling ring shank. There are no two patterns the same. Each is unique just as the bark of a Tree.
The Moonstone is meant to symbolize the night Moon, shining down onto the gray patterns of the Tree. This Ring is a SIZE 6.5 and is very comfortable on the hand!
Moonstone cultivates compassion and empathy. It helps us to tap into our intuition and enhances psychic abilities and clairvoyance. The creative and intuitive power of feminine energy is activated by the moonstone. It can help us balance and cool down emotions and stress.
Almost 5000 years ago, ancient Egypt was the first known culture where people would exchange "rings of love" often made of woven reeds or leather. It is said that the Egyptians saw the ring, a circle, as a powerful symbol. Rings can also be traced to ancient Rome, when Aulus Gellius cited Appianus as saying that the ancient Egyptians had found a fine nerve linking the fourth finger to the heart. Occasionally rings have been re-purposed to hang from bracelets or necklaces. The signet ring is traditionally worn on the left pinky or little finger.
